Reviews and Ratings
Wow! This hotel really surprised me with its beautiful rooms and friendly staff. The location may not be the best for everyone, but it offers a peaceful getaway from the city. The dining experience had its ups and downs, but overall, a pleasant stay.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with period furniture overlooking the lawns, but some are outdated with falling plaster and paint. The service is friendly and supportive, although there were issues with noise. The location is ideal with free parking and outdoor space, near the city and park-and-ride. The dining options were good with plenty of choices, but the exterior and interior looked tired. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit small and needed some fresh paint, but they were better than expected with a nice en-suite bathroom. However, there was no window to open, and the shower experience was quite disappointing with various lights not working. The service, on the other hand, was excellent, with really friendly and helpful staff. The location was a bit out of the way for some, but it offered a quiet experience away from the city hustle. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with some amazing dishes but also some disappointments in the cooking. Overall, it was a decent stay with room for improvement.
